Mommy Makeover Inspires Cruise Plastic Surgery Patient to Help Others

Stacey before and afterJoseph T Cruise, MD and his staff at Cruise Plastic Surgery in Newport Beach had the pleasure of assisting their patient Stacey Stevens with her journey towards re-gaining her body back after gaining 100 pounds with each of her two back to back pregnancies.

How Mommy Makeovers Can Improve Mental Health

After fully recovering from a mommy makeover to restore her breasts and stomach, she was motivated to continue improving her overall well-being. Her supportive and loving husband hired a personal trainer for her to start working out five days a week and she became committed to eating a well-balanced healthy diet. Stacey lost 85 pounds and went from a size 12 to size 6 over a period of just one year. Her new found passion for health and wellness has inspired her to become a certified personal trainer and open her fitness business; Been There Lost that (http://www.beentherelostthat.com)

“I am so grateful for all of my life’s experiences; good and bad. Without them, I wouldn’t be where I am today, helping inspire others to be the best version of themselves, ” commented Stacey Stevens.

How Motherhood Affects the Body

After gaining approximately 100 pounds with each of her two pregnancies, along with dealing with a difficult relocation from Canada to Orange County, CA., Stacey Stevens went from a comfortable pre-pregnancy size 12 to a very uncomfortable size 18. Once her family was settled in their new environment, Stacey’s husband surprised her with an appointment to meet Newport Beach plastic surgeon, Dr. Joseph T. Cruise, to discuss what could be done to re-gain her pre-pregnancy body. That initial meeting led to Stacy having mommy makeover surgery. After she was fully recovered, her husband surprised her yet again with a personal trainer. After months of working out five days a week and committing to eating a healthy well-balanced diet, Stacey lost an additional 85 pounds on top of what she lost from surgery. She went from a size 18 to a size 6!

Stacey’s new found passion resulted in her pursing a career in personal training. After endless days and nights of studying she was finally rewarded with her personal training certification. She has also received her TRX certification and is CPR/First Aid/AED certified. Stacey recently celebrated the start of her new personal training business, Been There Lost That. She offers private training, group training, couples training and boot camps in the Orange County area. Her own personal weight loss journey is the key to her success. She has the ability to connect, motivate, and inspire her clients on a deeper level, while providing her expertise and knowledge in fitness.
