Today the rest of my life begins. Some 9 years ago I decided my body wasn’t perfect enough so I decided to take some over the counter testosterone enhancing pills from a nutrition store. Though the results were phenomenal, shortly after the end of the cycle I started to develop something called gynecomastia, which is swollen male breast tissue caused by hormonal imbalance. After a devastating breakup of 17 years, depressed & overweight, and two knee surgeries, one in each knee, doctors told her she would never be able to run again. Driven by proving herself & doctors wrong, she joined bootcamp and got her groove back with @ocfitlas2winz. Today, she not only runs faster than ever before, but she lifts really heavy weights and competes in bodybuilding at 60 yrs young.

I came to Dr. Cruise because I was self conscious of my body. I had excess fat on my stomach, hips and thighs that I just could not burn off. Last night was so much needed after a crazy week full of events, work, and life… Seems like things just seemed to keep popping up. •Getting a little personal ?• It has been 3 weeks since I have had my deviated septum fixed and my rhinoplasty surgery and I am already feeling so much better about it from all aspects and am looking forward to seeing the final results without the swelling. A huge thank you to everyone at @cruiseplasticsurgery for supporting me and being such an amazing part of my journey! I am so grateful for all you beautiful souls! It always helps when you have a support team cheering you on. You truly helped me open up a new chapter of my life and close another. I was extremely nervous about doing this and was nervous about the reactions I would receive. If anyone ever has any doubts about making yourself happy don’t let them hold you back! I also would like to spread awareness about being kind to others (plays a role in this). Sometimes the smallest statement can make the biggest impact on someone’s life and you never truly know what someone is going through ? The smallest thing can help someone overcome something huge.

Guess who gets to go buy a regular bra today?! This girl I am one month and 3 days post-op, seriously my team is the best! I had many things come up this month, traveling to Michigan, traveling to Arizona, lots of things that have required me to be on the go. Still, I’ve never felt better! For as scared as I was about having a third breast surgery, I can’t believe how great things went! I had gynecomastia surgery in October 2015, and so far it has been the best decision I’ve ever made. I’ve had gynecomastia since I was a young teen, and had always just lived with the embarrassment/insecurity of it. I was always overweight as a kid/teenager (was 245 lbs at one point), and once I lost the weight, I looked better and felt better, but the gynecomastia was still there. I didn’t even know there was a surgical procedure that could permanently get rid of it. When I heard about it, I did a little research online and came across Joseph T Cruise, MD. I decided to call to schedule a consultation with him. So after doing all my research and visiting Joseph T Cruise, MD, I felt like there was no reason for me not to do it. Joseph T Cruise, MD exceeded my expectations and couldn’t have been better. I can see why people actually come internationally to have surgeries done by him. His staff are all amazing, very helpful and informative through the whole process. He’s very patient, receptive, and takes his work very seriously which I couldn’t have appreciated more.
