Eyelid rejuvenation is also referred to as an eyelid lift. The medical terminology is blepharoplasty.
The procedure removes excess skin and fat pockets. Not always will both be present. Joseph T Cruise, MD will evaluate your situation and provide his recommendation on what can be done to meet your aesthetic goals.
Upper eyelid incisions are made in the natural crease of the eye and lower eyelid incisions are made just below the lash line of the lower lids. Incisions are well hidden upon recovery. If only excess fat is present in the lower lids, it may be removed through an incision inside the lower lids with no external incision or scar.

Recovery
Initial recovery is 2-4 days.
If you would like to keep your procedure private, you may need to avoid work or social engagements for 1-2weeks. Bruising and swelling varies person to person and could take up to 2 weeks to be presentable.
