Chin augmentation is performed by making a well-hidden incision below the chin. A pocket is then created and the implant is put into place and secured with sutures.
The procedure is frequently performed in-office under local anesthesia, however general anesthesia is an option as well.

Chin augmentation is fairly easy to recover from compared to other cosmetic procedures. Most men can return to work within 2-5 days. Swelling, mild bruising, soreness, and restricted mouth motion or the most common side effects of surgery.
